Istria is a heart shaped peninsula in the northwestern part of Croatia. With area of 3160 m2, never ending rolling hills and 430 km coastline it offers a perfect vacation destination.
The climate is Mediterranean which means that summers are warm and sunny whereas spring and fall are mild.
Istria is historically reach area as it has changed many rulers through the time, starting with Roman empire followed by Venetian republic, Habsburg monarchy, Napoleonic empire, Austrian empire, Italy and Yugoslavia until it finally settled down in independent Croatia. The evidence of its reach history is still to be seen in various old Istrian cities and ruins.
